İngilizce Konu Anlatımı

Yes / No sorularına ister uzun cevap istersek kısa cevap verebiliriz. Ama İngilizcede bize sorulan bir soruyu sadece YES, ya da NO ile kestirip atmak pek hoş olmaz. Diğer bir deyişle kısa cevap vermenin de bir şekli vardır. Aşağıdaki örnekleri incelediğimizde bunları çok rahat görebiliriz.

Olumlu kısa cevaplarda aşağıdaki örneklerde verildiği gibi kısaltma yapılamaz.

Yes, she’s        =          yanlış

No, I amn’t      =          yanlış
