"What + do" questions are a structure used in English to get information about how a certain action has happened or will happen.

It starts with the word "what", followed by the auxiliary verb "do" or "does" and finally the simple form of the verb.

In the present simple tense, "do" or "does" is used, while in the present continuous tense it is used with the auxiliary verbs "is/are".

For example, "What do you do?" in the present simple tense and "What are you doing?" in the present continuous tense.

Similarly, "did" is used for the past tense and an example is "What did you do yesterday?".

For the future tense, "will" or "be going to" is used, for example, "What will you do tomorrow?" or "What are you going to do next week?".

This construction is widely used to get information about actions at various times and enriches communication.
