Stative Verbs:

  • I know the answer.
  • She loves her job.
  • He owns a big house.
  • They believe in ghosts.
  • The coffee tastes delicious.

Non-Stative Verbs:

  • She is running in the park.
  • They are studying for the exam.
  • He is writing an essay.
  • They are discussing the project.
  • We are driving to the beach.

Note: Some verbs can function as both stative and non-stative depending on the context. For example:

  • Stative: "I think this is a good idea."
  • Non-Stative: "I am thinking about the plan."
