There are two main ways to U.S. university admission through BridgePathways. Candelas is here to help you decide which one is best for you.

First Path:

In this case, you will stay on the same campus for your entire educational experience, from BridgePathways to your degree.

Apply

Your application is conveyed to a BridgePathways center on campus at Colorado Mesa University, Chadron State College, Husson University, Manhattanville College, Philadelphia University or Western New England University.

Conditional Admission

If you meet all of the admission requirements to the university, except for the required English proficiency level, you will be granted conditional admission, which includes a TOEFL waiver.

BridgePathways Graduate

You will complete the BridgePathways Academic English Program on-campus.

Degree on the same campus

You will seamlessly transfer from BridgePathways to your degree program at the university, all on the same campus.

Second Path:

You are not yet sure which school you would like to attend but know you want a degree from a U.S. university.

Enrol

You will enrol at BridgePathways at Denver City Center and determine which U.S. university in the BridgePathways network you would like to attend.

Conditional Admission

If you meet all of the admission requirements to the university, except for the required English proficiency level, you will be granted conditional admission and possibly a TOEFL waiver.

BridgePathways Graduate

You will complete the BridgePathways Academic English program in Denver.

Transfer for degree

Having gained admission, you will transfer to the university’s campus to begin your degree program.

What is a Conditional Admission?

If you meet all of the entrance requirements to a university except for the required English proficiency level, you may be granted conditional admission. Your admission is conditional because you have to meet certain conditions (improving your English level) before gaining full admission. BridgePathways will help you meet those conditions.

TOEFL/IELTS Waivers

In addition to conditional admission, some university partners work closely with BridgePathways to determine that our curriculum standards are equivalent to an IELTS or TOEFL score requirement. This waives the need for standardized English tests for BridgePathways graduates who have already received conditional admission.
